Law Student Scholarships

The Louisville Black Lawyers Association, Inc. has established three scholarships to be given out annually to deserving students who are active members of the Louisville Brandeis School of Law Black Law Students Association (B.L.S.A.).  The scholarships are awarded to B.L.S.A. members who can demonstrate superior academic achievement as well as a commitment to community service within the greater Louisville Metro community.

The Louisville Black Lawyers Association scholarships are named after

three individuals who have exemplified significant legal and civil

accomplishments within our community. Those individuals are:

Hon. William E. McAnulty Jr.

Hon. Denise G. Clayton

Hon. Benjamin F. Shobe

The Charles W. Anderson, Jr. Bar Association, Inc. (formerly The Louisville Black Lawyers Association, Inc.)

In addition to scholarship opportunities, LBLA provides support to the law students through mentoring programs and networking opportunities.
